Horsepower sizes range from 1/12 HP to 1500 HP, catering to various applications such as compressors, pumps, fans, conveyors, material handling, and machine tools. Key features of these motors include heavy-duty frames, ball bearings, moisture-resistant ISR® (Inverter Spike Resistant) technology, copper windings, and low-loss electrical lamination grade steel. These motors are designed for continuous or frequent duty operations, with Super-E motors specifically engineered to conserve energy over extended periods. They are inverter rated per NEMA MG1 Part 31.4.4.2 and are suitable for variable torque applications and a 20:1 constant torque speed range when used with properly sized and adjusted variable frequency drives.
