This specialty motors group provides an extensive line of TEFC and ODP F-2 motors available in power ratings from 1 HP to 60 HP, as well as automotive-approved motors crafted from cast iron that adhere to stringent sound power level requirements. Additionally, a broad selection of design D oil field pump motors, available from 3 HP to 150 HP, is optimized for high torque and high slip applications. Key features encompass heavy gauge steel and cast iron frames, ball bearings, ISR® (Inverter Spike Resistant®) copper windings, and low-loss electrical grade lamination steel. The motors are designed for continuous or frequent duty applications, with Super-E motors engineered for energy conservation over extended periods. They feature Class F insulation, a 1.15 service factor, and are inverter rated in accordance with NEMA MG1 part 31.4.4.2, making them suitable for both variable torque applications and constant torque speed ranges when properly sized and adjusted with variable frequency drives.
