Baldor-Reliance's line of brake motors is designed in totally enclosed fan cooled, open drip proof, or explosion proof configurations, available in both single phase and three phase options. Stock ratings range from 1/4 HP to 30 HP, and the motors feature a mechanical spring set brake with manual release, ensuring power off operation and automatic reset. The brakes are internally connected to the motor for models 215T and smaller. These motors are suitable for a variety of applications, including machine tools, conveyors, door operators, speed reducers, and any application that requires quick stops and positive holds.
