Baldor-Reliance's washdown duty motors are available from stock in single and three-phase AC and DC designs, with horsepowers ranging from 1/2 to 20. These motors feature an electrostatically applied epoxy finish and come in paint-free configurations, with major components constructed of 300 series stainless steel, and an all-stainless steel option. The motors are designed for applications such as food processing, packaging, and pharmaceuticals, particularly where they are frequently exposed to high-pressure washdowns. Key features include all external surfaces made of 300 series stainless steel, moisture-resistant 200°C ISR® (Inverter Spike Resistant) magnet wire, four condensate drains in each endplate, sealed endplate rabbets, and gasketed conduit boxes, with lip seals that are especially effective in highly corrosive environments. The motors are suitable for outdoor and highly corrosive applications, making them reliable in demanding settings.
