Baldor-Reliance's washdown duty motors are available from stock in single and three phase AC and in DC designs with horsepower options ranging from 1/2 to 20. The motors feature an electrostatically applied epoxy finish, are paint-free, and consist of major components made from 300 series stainless steel or entirely in stainless steel. These motors are suitable for applications in food processing, packaging, pharmaceuticals, and other scenarios where high pressure wash down is a regular requirement. They incorporate the benefits of standard paint-free washdown duty motors and are specifically designed for use with variable frequency drives. The motors meet NEMA MG 1, Part 31 standards and are applicable for use in extruders, conveyors, crane and hoist systems, converting, pumps, web processing, test stands, traction duty, winders, and printing.
