Baldor-Reliance's washdown duty motors are available in single and three phase AC and DC designs, with horsepower options ranging from 1/2 to 20. These motors feature an electrostatically applied epoxy finish and are available in paint-free versions, with major components constructed from 300 series stainless steel or entirely in stainless steel. They are specifically designed for applications in food processing, packaging, and pharmaceuticals, particularly in environments where motors are frequently exposed to high-pressure wash downs. The motors incorporate all the benefits of standard paint-free washdown duty motors and are built for compatibility with variable frequency drives, complying with NEMA MG 1, part 31.
