Baldor-Reliance's washdown duty motors are designed for use in demanding environments and are available in single and three-phase AC, as well as DC designs, with horsepower options ranging from 1/2 to 20. These motors feature an electrostatically applied epoxy finish, paint-free construction, and major components made of 300 series stainless steel or all stainless steel, making them suitable for applications such as food processing, packaging, pharmaceuticals, and situations involving high-pressure wash down exposure. The motors are specifically constructed for compatibility with variable frequency drives and comply with NEMA MG 1, Part 31 standards. They can be utilized in various applications including extruders, conveyors, crane and hoist systems, converting, pumps, web processing, test stands, traction duty, winders, and printing.
