Baldor-Reliance's washdown duty motors are available from stock in single and three-phase AC and DC designs, with horsepower options ranging from 1/2 to 20. The motors feature an electrostatically applied epoxy finish, are paint-free, and include major components made from 300 series stainless steel, as well as all stainless steel models. These motors are specifically designed for applications in food processing, packaging, pharmaceuticals, and environments where high-pressure wash downs are common. They offer the advantages of standard paint-free washdown duty motors and are built for compatibility with variable frequency drives, meeting NEMA MG 1, Part 31 standards. Suitable applications include extruders, conveyors, crane and hoist systems, converting, pumps, web processing, test stands, traction duty, winders, and printing.
