Baldor-Reliance's washdown duty motors are available from stock in single and three-phase AC as well as DC designs, with horsepower options ranging from 1/2 to 20. These motors feature an electrostatically applied epoxy finish, are paint-free, and have major components made of 300 series stainless steel, with some models constructed entirely of stainless steel. They are specifically designed for applications in food processing, packaging, pharmaceuticals, or environments where motors are frequently exposed to high-pressure washdown. A key feature includes a moisture sealant applied to bolt heads and between the frame and endplates, ensuring durability and reliability in demanding conditions.
