Baldor-Realiance's washdown duty motors are available from stock in single and three-phase AC and DC designs, with horsepower options ranging from 1/2 to 20. The motors feature an electrostatically applied epoxy finish, paint-free construction, and major components made from 300 series stainless steel or all stainless steel. They are specifically designed for applications in food processing, packaging, and pharmaceuticals, or any scenario where motors are subjected to high-pressure wash down. Key features include moisture sealant on bolt heads, seals between the frame and endplates, neoprene gaskets, double-sealed bearings, Forsheda® running contact V-ring slinger, and a stainless steel shaft. Additionally, these motors come with Class F insulation and have a tropicalized design to withstand harsh environments. The combination of these attributes ensures durability and reliability in demanding operating conditions.
