Baldor-Reliance's extensive line of general purpose motors includes open drip-proof and TEFC construction options available in single and three-phase models, with horsepower sizes ranging from 1/12 HP to 1500 HP. These motors are designed for applications such as compressors, pumps, fans, conveyors, material handling, and machine tools. Key features comprise heavy gauge steel and cast iron frames, ball bearings, ISR® (Inverter Spike Resistant®) copper windings, and low-loss electrical grade lamination steel. The motors are suitable for continuous or frequent duty operations, engineered to conserve energy over extended periods, and come with Class F insulation and a 1.15 service factor. They are inverter rated per NEMA MG1 Part 31.4.4.2 and are appropriate for both variable torque applications and constant torque speed range when used with properly sized and adjusted variable frequency drives. The motors also carry a three-year warranty.
