Severe duty motors range from 1 HP to 700 HP and are specifically engineered to withstand harsh environmental operating conditions. These motors feature an 841XL design, enhanced electrical and mechanical specifications, and utilize NEMA Premium® efficient windings. The motors incorporate Inpro/Seal® VBX up to 210 frame and VBXX bearing isolators on both the fan and drive end shaft extensions. With an epoxy paint finish, they offer an IP56 enclosure and include stainless breather drains. The proprietary cast iron frames are designed for reduced vibration and noise, while terminal lugs are provided on motor leads. These motors come with a 5-year warranty and are suitable for applications in petro-chemical plants, pulp and paper industries, cement production, aggregate mining, and other process industries that require premium efficient motors compliant with IEEE 841-2001 TEFC motor standards for severe duty service.
