Severe duty motors range from 1 HP to 700 HP and are specifically designed to withstand severe environmental operating conditions, making them ideal for applications in petro-chemical plants, mines, foundries, pulp and paper plants, waste management facilities, rock crushers, and chemical plants. Key features include a Super-E premium efficient motor with a 1.15 service factor, a corrosion-resistant epoxy finish, regreasable ball bearings, and an oversized rotatable cast iron conduit box. Additional attributes consist of a Forsheda® shaft seal, moisture-resistant copper windings, Class F insulation, a stainless steel nameplate, and corrosion-resistant hardware. These motors are tropicalized to ensure durability in harsh climates and are suitable for a variety of processing industry applications that require protection against corrosion.
