Severe duty motors, ranging from 1 HP to 700 HP, are specifically designed to withstand harsh environmental operating conditions, making them ideal for applications such as petro-chemical plants, mines, foundries, pulp and paper plants, waste management facilities, rock crushers, and chemical plants. These motors are built to the 841XL design standard and feature an upgraded electrical and mechanical design with NEMA Premium® efficient winding. They incorporate Inpro/Seal® VBX up to 210 frame and VBXX bearing isolators on fan and drive end shaft extensions. The epoxy paint provides an IP56 enclosure, while stainless breather drains enhance durability. Additionally, the proprietary cast iron frames are engineered to reduce vibration and noise, and terminal lugs on motor leads facilitate easy connection. These motors come with a 5-year warranty and are suitable for applications in petro-chemical, pulp and paper, cement, aggregate mining, and other process industries that require premium efficient motors tested to exceed IEEE 841-2001 TEFC motor standards for extreme severe duty service.
