Baldor-Reiance's washdown duty motors are available from stock in single and three-phase AC and DC designs, with horsepowers ranging from 1/2 to 20. The designs include motors featuring an electrostatically applied epoxy finish, paint-free construction, with major components made from 300 series stainless steel, and options for all stainless steel. These motors are suitable for applications in food processing, packaging, and pharmaceuticals, or environments where they are exposed to high-pressure washdowns. Key features include a totally enclosed non-ventilated (TENV) C-face with base 143TC-254TC supplied with a 1024 line count encoder, a stainless steel shaft, Forsheda® running contact V-ring, epoxy coating, moisture sealant on bolt heads, and between the frame and endplate. Additionally, they incorporate ISR® (Inverter Spike Resistant) magnet wire and are class H insulated, meeting NEMA MG 1, part 31 specifications. They are ideal for vector drive washdown applications and for material handling and packaging equipment in wet environments, particularly for adjustable speed applications that require full torque from zero to base speed.
