The Definite Purpose family of motors encompasses a diverse range designed to meet the demands of various applications. This selection includes TEFC and ODP two-speed motors, as well as single-phase pressure washer motors, alongside specialty options such as arbor saw to woodworking motors, pre-1952 NEMA motors, and SAE hydraulic pump motors. A comprehensive line of TEFC and ODP F-2 motors is available from 1 HP to 60 HP. Additionally, the automotive-approved motors, recognized by major US automobile manufacturers, feature all cast iron construction and comply with stringent sound power level requirements. The design includes regreasable double shield ball bearings, a shaft slinger on both ends of the motor, stainless steel nameplate, and an epoxy paint finish. These motors are suitable for operation in ambient temperatures of 65°C with a 1.00 service factor or 40°C with a 1.15 service factor. They also meet GM requirements for minimum efficiency times power factor as outlined in GM7EQ and GM7EHQ.
