The Baldor-Reliance DC metric motor, model VP3428-14, features a 0.5 HP output and operates at a specified RPM. It is designed with a totally enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) configuration and comes in a D71C frame. This permanent magnet DC motor is compatible with IEC B5 flanges in power ratings from .2 to 5 HP or B14 C-faces from .2 to 2 HP, all optimized for 180 volt input power and offering a 20:1 constant torque speed range. The motor includes features such as a metric flange or C-face that complies with IEC standards, a bolt-on non-metric base, Class F insulation, and is tach adaptable except for the type 135S.
