These NEMA frame DC motors include permanent magnet designs up to 5 HP and wound field designs up to 500 HP, designed for adjustable speed operation from SCR controls. They are suitable for applications such as conveyors, extruders, winders, printing presses, and metering pumps. Most designs allow for the addition of a tachometer for closed loop applications, with permanent magnet and wound field designs for 90 or 180 VDC offering a 20:1 constant torque speed range. Key features include a NEMA C-face with removable base, tach adaptable capability, Class F insulation, double sealed ball bearings, and UL and CSA recognition. The 3300P motors are TENV, while all others are TEFC. Notably, there are no dual mounting base holes on the 33P type. These motors are applicable in various settings including conveyors, mixers, packaging machinery, and other applications requiring variable speed and constant torque.
