Baldor-Reliance lifting magnet generators provide power for lifting electro-magnets used in scrap and bulk metal handling facilities. These generators feature a heavy duty steel frame, cast iron endplates, and class H insulation with a class F temperature rise. They are equipped with precision brush holders, constant force brush springs, and double sealed ball bearings. The compound wound design offers drooping voltage characteristics, and the DPFG enclosure is complemented by weather resistant paint and an F-2 conduit box, making it suitable for crane mounted lifting magnets for recyclers and steel mills. The horizontal motors can be belted from the diesel engine or coupled to the PTO drive of the crane.
