Inverter/vector motors are equipped with a superior insulation system designed to comply with NEMA MG-1 Part 31 for inverter power. The motors available from stock range from 1/3 HP to 1000 HP and are specifically designed for a variety of industrial applications requiring full torque from base speed down to zero speed. Applications include conveyors, pumps, fans, metal processing, compressors, test stands, material handling, packaging equipment, and printing presses among others needing exact speeds and positioning. Key features include a compact square laminated steel frame (FL210-L440, with FL180 being extruded aluminum) suitable for vector duty, a 1000:1 constant torque ratio, premium class H insulation rated for a 40°C ambient temperature with a 1.0 service factor, and three normally closed thermostats (one per phase). Additionally, VPI insulation and an insulated O.D.E. bearing are standard on all L440 frames. The kit also includes a 1024 PPR hollow shaft encoder with an MS twist lock connector, making it ideal for applications such as test stands, extruders, cranes & hoist systems, converting, web processing, traction duty, winders, and printing.
