Baldor-Reliance lifting magnet generators are designed to supply power for lifting electro-magnets employed in scrap and bulk metal handling facilities, featuring a heavy-duty steel frame and cast iron endplates. The generators are constructed with Class H insulation and a Class F temperature rise, equipped with precision brush holders and constant force brush springs, and utilize double sealed ball bearings. They are compound wound with drooping voltage characteristics and housed in a DPFG enclosure, coated with weather resistant paint, and come with an F-2 conduit box. These generators are suitable for crane mounted lifting magnets specifically for recyclers and steel mills, with options for horizontal motors that may be belted from the diesel engine or coupled directly to the PTO drive of the crane.
