The Ergodyne TREX™ strap-on heel ice traction device, model 16778, in XL size and black color is designed to enhance traction on icy surfaces while allowing for vehicle operation. This device features rugged steel plates that convert boot heels into effective ice picks while leaving the mid-foot unobstructed. It is ideal for applications including road construction, railroad work, roofers, trades, installers, contractors, delivery/service, landscaping, utilities, and logging. Key attributes include a corrosion-resistant steel heel plate for grip stability on ice and snow, a heel-only design for unobstructed vehicle operation, and a channeled design that prevents the retention of ice, snow, or debris.
