The Baldor-Reliance Constant Velocity Blower Cooling Conversion Kit, model BLWM16-F, is designed for 3-phase AC motors operating at voltages of 230/380/460V and is compatible with frame sizes 404TC-405TC. This kit facilitates the conversion of Totally Enclosed Non-Ventilated (TENV) or Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC) AC motors to a Totally Enclosed Blower Cooled (TEBC) configuration, which is particularly beneficial in applications requiring continuous cooling regardless of the motor shaft speed. The installation involves mounting the kit on the back of the motor after the fan guard and fan have been removed, and it does not necessitate the removal of the TEFC fan shaft. It is important to note that this conversion kit is not suitable for Athens-built motors of types 180-440 M, CP, or ECP.
