The kit is designed for use in hydraulic, instrumentation, and chemical processing systems, capable of handling pressures up to 10,000 psi depending on tube size. It employs a 3-piece flare sealing method and offers good resistance to vibration. Constructed from carbon steel - AISI/SAE 12L14, it is compatible with copper, brass, steel, aluminum, and other tubings that can be flared. A key advantage is the zinc plating and the 3-piece design, which provides a broad selection of styles and sizes, all of which are interchangeable with various sources. The identifying characteristic is a short nut with a sleeve protruding, with materials generally being either steel or stainless steel. The product conforms to J.I.C. and SAE (J154) standards.
