The kit is available in both NPT and SAE configurations and is designed to provide precise control of flow and shutoff in one direction while allowing full flow in the opposite direction. It features a two-step needle for fine adjustment at low flow, utilizing the first three turns of the adjusting knob, with the next three turns enabling full flow and standard throttling adjustments. The valve is equipped with an exclusive "ColorFlow" color-band reference scale on the valve stem, facilitating easy and accurate setting adjustments. The cracking pressure for the return check poppet is 5 PSI (0.4 bar), and the poppet materials vary by model: brass valves (B suffix) use a soft seal, while steel valves (S suffix) have a solid metal poppet. The maximum operating pressure specifications are as follows: for brass models F, inline only, it is 2000 PSI (140 bar), and for steel, the 400-800 size range supports 5000 PSI, while the 1200 sizes have a maximum of 3000 PSI.
