The kit includes a valve that is available in both NPT and SAE configurations, providing precise control of flow and shutoff in one direction while allowing full flow in the opposite direction. It features a two-step needle for fine adjustment at low flow, utilizing the first three turns of the adjusting knob, with the next three turns enabling the valve to open to full flow and providing standard throttling adjustments. The valve is equipped with an exclusive "ColorFlow" color-band reference scale on the stem, facilitating easy setting and recall of previous configurations. The cracking pressure for the return check poppet is 5 PSI (0.4 BAR), with the poppet material consisting of brass for valves with a B suffix and a solid metal poppet for those with an S suffix. The maximum operating pressure varies by material, with brass models (F, inline only) rated at 2000 PSI (140 BAR), while steel models range from 5000 PSI for 400-800 sizes to 3000 PSI for 1200 sizes.
