It features a two-step needle that enables fine adjustment at low flow by utilizing the first three turns of the adjusting knob, with the subsequent three turns opening the valve to full flow and offering standard throttling adjustments. The exclusive "ColorFlow" color-band reference scale on the valve stem aids in setting and returning the valve to any previous configuration efficiently. The cracking pressure for the return check poppet is 5 PSI (0.4 bar), with poppet materials varying by valve type: Brass valves (B suffix) include a soft seal, while Steel valves (S suffix) feature a solid metal poppet. The maximum operating pressures are as follows: for Brass models F, inline only, it is 2000 PSI (140 bar), while Steel models in the 400-800 size range are rated for 5000 PSI, and the 1200 size range supports 3000 PSI.
