The kit includes a 1-1/4" thick high-density particle board top with a real high-pressure laminate that resists scratches, paint, markers, crayons, and food and juice stains far better than melamine. A backer sheet is included to resist warping, along with extra bracing on larger sizes. Leg mounting brackets are pre-attached with 7 screws, with three additional screws in the leg plate, and an oversized hairpin brace, which together make this the strongest leg mounting system in the industry. A shoulder on the leg set screw provides an extra margin of safety, ensuring these are the safest activity tables available. Each table comes with a free speed-wrench for fast, easy height adjustments. The universal activity table leg set adjusts from 19" to 29" in 1" increments, featuring a matte black painted leg upper with a straight chrome leg insert.
