The kit includes a 1-1/4" thick high-density particle board top with a real high-pressure laminate that resists scratches, paint, markers, crayons, and food and juice stains far better than melamine. A backer sheet is included to resist warping, along with extra bracing on larger sizes. The leg mounting brackets are pre-attached with 7 screws, and an additional three screws in the leg plate, combined with an oversized hairpin brace, make this the strongest leg mounting system in the industry. The shoulder on the leg set screw provides an extra margin of safety, ensuring these tables remain secure even if not properly tightened, making them the safest activity tables available. Each table comes with a free speed-wrench for fast and easy height adjustments. The universal activity table leg set adjusts from 19" to 29" in 1" increments, featuring a leg upper with a matte black paint finish and a straight chrome leg insert.
