The kit includes a 1-1/4" thick high-density particle board top with real high-pressure laminate, which resists scratches, paint, markers, crayons, and food and juice stains far better than melamine. It features a backer sheet to resist warping and extra bracing on larger sizes. Leg mounting brackets are pre-attached with 7 screws, complemented by three additional screws in the leg plate and an oversized hairpin brace, resulting in the strongest leg mounting system in the industry. The shoulder on the leg set screw provides an extra margin of safety, even if not properly tightened, making these the safest activity tables available. Each table comes with a free speed-wrench for fast, easy height adjustments. The universal activity table leg set adjusts from 19" to 29" in 1" increments, with the leg upper finished in matte black paint and featuring a straight chrome leg insert.
