These bearings are specifically designed to support ball screws utilized as actuators in high precision and high-speed machines, featuring significantly greater stiffness compared to conventional angular contact ball bearings due to the inclusion of a larger number of balls. They come with a pre-set preload, simplifying the setup by eliminating the need for complex adjustments and torque measurements. Additionally, the flush ground bearings, indicated by the suffix DU or U, can be arranged in various configurations, including DB (back to back), DF (face to face), or DT (tandem) assemblies. It is important to note that when a single flush ground bearing (suffix U) is used in a duplex configuration, the load rating must be multiplied by 1.62 or 2.16 for dynamic loads when axial loads are applied to 2 rows or 3 rows, respectively, and multiplied by 2 or 3 for axial limiting loads under the same conditions.
