These bearings are designed to support ball screws that are used as actuators of high precision and high-speed machines, featuring a stiffness significantly greater than conventional angular contact ball bearings due to a greater number of balls. The bearings come with a pre-set preload to eliminate the need for complicated adjustments and torque measurement. Flush ground bearings, identified by the suffix DU or U, can be utilized in DB (back to back), DF (face to face), or DT (tandem) assembly configurations. When a single flush ground bearing with the suffix U is assembled in duplex under axial load applied to 2 or 3 rows, the load rating should be multiplied by 1.62 or 2.16 respectively for dynamic loads and multiplied by 2 or 3 respectively for axial limiting loads.
