These bearings are specifically designed to support ball screws used as actuators in high-precision, high-speed machines. With a significantly greater stiffness compared to conventional angular contact ball bearings, they incorporate a higher number of balls. The bearings come with a pre-set preload that eliminates the need for complex adjustments and torque measurements. Flush ground bearings, identified by the suffix DU or U, can be configured in DB (back to back), DF (face to face), or DT (tandem) assemblies. It is important to note that when a single flush ground bearing with suffix U is incorporated into a duplex setup and subjected to axial loads across 2 or 3 rows, the dynamic load rating should be multiplied by 1.62 or 2.16, respectively, while the axial limiting load rating should be multiplied by 2 or 3, respectively.
