These bearings are specifically designed to support ball screws utilized as actuators in high precision and high speed machines, boasting significantly greater stiffness than conventional angular contact ball bearings due to a higher number of balls. Each bearing comes with a pre-set preload, simplifying installation by eliminating the need for complicated adjustment and torque measurement. The flush ground bearings, indicated by the suffix DU or U, are suitable for various assembly configurations including DB (back to back), DF (face to face), or DT (tandem). It is important to note that when a single flush ground bearing (suffix U) is used in a duplex assembly and axial load is applied to two or three rows, the load rating must be multiplied by 1.62 or 2.16 for dynamic ratings, and by 2 or 3 for axial limiting loads, respectively.
