These bearings are specifically designed to support ball screws utilized as actuators in high precision and high-speed machines, featuring greater stiffness compared to conventional angular contact ball bearings due to an increased number of balls. They come with a pre-set preload, which simplifies installation by eliminating the need for complicated adjustments and torque measurements. The flush ground bearings, indicated by the suffixes DU or U, can be used in various assembly configurations including DB (back to back), DF (face to face), or DT (tandem). It is important to note that when a single flush ground bearing (suffix U) is assembled in duplex and axial load is applied to two or three rows, the load ratings should be multiplied by 1.62 or 2.16 respectively for dynamic load ratings, and by 2 or 3 respectively for axial limiting load ratings.
