These bearings are specifically engineered to support ball screws utilized as actuators in high precision and high-speed machines. They offer significantly greater stiffness compared to conventional angular contact ball bearings due to the increased number of balls incorporated in their design. Each bearing comes with a pre-set preload, which simplifies installation by eliminating the need for complicated adjustments and torque measurements. Flush ground bearings, denoted with the suffix DU or U, are versatile and can be arranged in DB (back to back), DF (face to face), or DT (tandem) configurations. It is important to note that when a single flush ground bearing with the suffix U is arranged in a duplex setup and subjected to axial loads across 2 or 3 rows, the load ratings should be adjusted by multiplying by 1.62 or 2.16 for dynamic loads, and by 2 or 3 for axial limiting loads, respectively.
