These bearings are specifically engineered to support ball screws utilized as actuators in high-precision and high-speed machinery. They exhibit significantly higher stiffness compared to conventional angular contact ball bearings, primarily due to the increased number of balls incorporated. Each bearing is provided with a pre-set preload, negating the need for complex adjustments and torque measurements. Flush ground bearings, indicated by the suffix DU or U, can be configured in DB (back to back), DF (face to face), or DT (tandem) arrangements. It is important to note the load ratings: when a single flush ground bearing (suffix U) is part of a duplex assembly and subjected to axial loads across two or three rows, the load rating specified must be multiplied by 1.62 or 2.16, respectively, for dynamic loads, and by 2 or 3 for axial limiting loads.
