The decorative stucco column is designed to transform a cluster box unit (CBU) into an attractive mail center, although the CBU is not included. This prefabricated column comes ready to install over a standard USPS-approved CBU mailbox and pedestal. It features an easy-to-handle Styrofoam core with a ready-to-paint, exterior-grade stucco surface, allowing it to be painted with any exterior-grade paint. The foam core columns are durable and provide enhanced safety compared to traditional cinder block or steel stud columns, as the foam core is engineered to crumple and absorb impact energy during collisions. Additionally, a double stucco coat option is available, typically applied when a final stucco coat is not needed; this thicker and stronger second layer of cement is better suited for high-traffic locations, where it can withstand greater chances of surface impacts.
