The Proto® 3/8" drive premium quick-release pear head ratchet features an 8-1/2" small pear head design that allows for access in tight, hard-to-reach work areas. It includes a 45-tooth gear that provides a balance between an 8° articulation angle and high torque carrying capacity. The sealed design helps prevent debris from entering the ratchet mechanism, reducing wear and maintaining lubrication within the components. It has a patent-pending design and a low-profile reversing lever for quick, one-hand operation. The ratchet is equipped with a contoured, ergonomically-designed handle for comfort and knurled bands that enhance grip and slip resistance. Additionally, it is double nickel chrome plated for enhanced corrosion protection or available in a black oxide finish, and is field repairable.
