3M™ E-A-R Soft Metal Detectable Earplugs, corded, poly bag, model number 311-4106, are supplied in a package containing 200 pairs. These earplugs are specifically designed for use in food processing and other industries where preventing contamination of products and processes is essential. They are recognized by most metal-sensing systems due to the implanted stainless steel ball bearing in each earplug and the incorporation of metal particles in the cord. Each pair is kept clean before use in a poly bag, and the regular size is designed to fit most ear canals comfortably. The earplugs have a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 32 dB and are classified as CSA Class AL. They are also test compatible with the 3M™ E-A-RFIT™ Validation System.
