Hi-Temp Red Silicone is a high-performance, single component, moisture-curing RTV (room temperature vulcanizing) silicone gasketing material that cures into a strong silicone rubber, maintaining long-term durability and flexibility. This non-slumping paste-like consistency cures when exposed to moisture in the air and is excellent for filling gaps. It is suitable for sealing, bonding, weatherproofing, and caulking applications, forming a tough, flexible silicone rubber gasket that resists aging and weathering, and will not harden, shrink, or crack. It is specifically designed for use on gaskets for valve covers, water pumps, oil pans, and rear end covers as well as thermostats.
