The SmartTool electronic level is housed in a durable 2 ft. long aluminum frame and is capable of measuring all angles within a 360° range. It is designed to simplify the installation of decks, stair rails, roof extensions, or to assess sagging floors efficiently. The display rotates to maintain readability and features an automatic shut-off after 5 minutes of inactivity, powered by a standard 9-volt battery (not included). Its key features include angle accuracy to 1/10 of a degree, a mode button that displays angles in three formats—degrees, percent slope, or pitch (inches of rise per foot of run)—and a listen & level function for use in poorly lit areas. Additionally, the audible tone provides hands-free operation by alerting the user when the tool is level or plumb. Please note that the module is fixed and cannot be removed from the rail.
