The BL deep groove ball bearings (inch) 1638-2RS are sealed, light duty bearings featuring a 0.75" bore and a 2" outer diameter (OD). These precision ground bearings are designed to be domestically interchangeable with traditional (semi-ground) domestic inch series bearings, meeting ABEC 1 tolerance specifications. The bearings are equipped with grooved raceways on both the inner and outer rings, allowing them to sustain moderate axial loads in both directions in addition to radial loads. The balls within the bearings are separated by steel cages for enhanced durability. Common interchanges include 23212-88 General, 1638DC Nice, and BR9938 Shatz.
