The Fuel Smart Hydrostat® Model 3250-Plus for oil-fired boilers operates on 120V and features a three-function control system including a universal temperature limit, low water cut-off, and a fuel-saving boiler reset. It supports indoor reset through an on-board thermal mechanism and is ready for outdoor reset and warm weather shut-down when installed with the Hydrolevel Electro-Well™ and the separately purchased Hydrolevel OS-100 outdoor sensor kit. This model replaces cold start and triple-action aquastats and can be installed on an existing immersion well for full temperature and boiler reset functionality or on an Electro-Well™ to add low water cut-off protection. Setup is facilitated by an easy dial type configuration where temperature limits and economy settings can be dialed in. The device has a dynamic temperature display that clearly shows boiler temperature and switches instantly to show settings when adjusted. It includes LED status lights to indicate active functions and to identify which function is preventing the burner from firing. A test/settings button is provided to test the low water cut-off and display all control settings. Wiring is straightforward, using the same terminal designations as common Aquastat® models. The system also features smart domestic hot water (DHW) priority, closely monitoring boiler temperature to prioritize domestic hot water calls as needed.
