The BlackBox™ Bantam® UHF 2-way radio is a compact and rugged device designed for robust communication. It features 16 channels with power options of 4 watts or 2 watts within the 400-470 MHz frequency range, along with scanning capabilities and voice channel enunciation. The radio is powered by a 1500 mAh lithium-ion battery and comes with a rapid rate charger. Users can program frequencies, PL, and DPL via PC, and the device includes three programmable buttons that facilitate voice encryption, alarm functions, whisper transmit, and high/low power settings. The dimensions of the radio are 2.3" x 3.75" x 1.34", and it is narrowband compliant. The package includes the radio, battery, accessory clamp, belt clip, antenna, user manual, and a 2-pin Kenwood connector. Radio programming service is optional and available upon request.
