The BlackBox™ Bantam® VHF 2-way radio is a compact and rugged full-power device featuring 16 channels with selectable output power at 5 watts or 2 watts, operating within a frequency range of 136-174 MHz. It includes essential capabilities such as scanning, voice channel enunciation, and a 1500 mAh lithium ion battery, complemented by a rapid rate charger. Additionally, the radio features PC programming for frequency, PL, and DPL, as well as three programmable buttons for functions like voice encryption, alarm, and whisper transmit, with options for high and low power settings. The dimensions of the radio are 2.3" x 3.75" x 1.34", and it is narrowband compliant. The package includes the radio, battery, accessory clamp, belt clip, antenna, and user manual, alongside a 2-pin Kenwood connector.
