The Stanley® 14-563 FatMax® compound action aviation snips are designed for straight cuts up to 18 gauge (1.2 mm) cold-rolled steel or 23 gauge (0.7 mm) stainless steel. Featuring forged chrome molybdenum steel cutting blades, these snips ensure strength, durability, and a long cutting life. The serrated cutting blades provide a sturdy bite and help prevent material from slipping during use. Additionally, the latch design allows for quick single-handed operation, while adjustment-free fasteners prevent loosening of the blades. These snips meet or exceed ANSI standards.
