The Viper Plus GT wheelchair features flip-back, detachable, adjustable full arms and elevating leg rests, with a 20" seat width. Designed for versatility, the Drive Medical Viper GT is easier to propel and transport than average weight chairs. Standard attributes include adjustable padded arms, multiple seat-to-floor height positions, adjustable anti-tippers with flip-up wheels that do not require removal, and push-to-lock wheel locks. The backrest is both angle and height adjustable for enhanced patient comfort. The Viper GT is available in 16", 18", and 20" versions, all of which come with a seat rail extension kit. Constructed with a high-strength, lightweight all-aluminum frame and durable nylon upholstery, this wheelchair ensures long-lasting comfort. Performance is bolstered by precision sealed wheel bearings in both the front and rear, quick-release 24" composite Mag-style wheels that are lightweight and maintenance-free, and tool-free adjustable swing-away footrests with easily accessible release handles. Urethane rear tires and casters provide superior performance and a smoother ride. The wheelchair weighs under 32 lbs (excluding front rigging), features a dual axle for multiple seat-to-floor height positions, and the over-center cross brace eliminates seat guides while remaining compatible with seating and positioning accessories.
