The basic retractable post features a 4-way connection, black slow-retract belt, and a rubberized base, all designed to provide premium functionality at an affordable price. Constructed from solid steel, this strong and durable stanchion post includes a premium internal 7' belt mechanism. The product is shipped in two pieces (post and base) to minimize freight costs and can be easily assembled with a simple twist of a key, which is included. Once assembled, the post becomes permanently affixed to the base and should not be unassembled. The design is protected under USPTO® No. 2,472,720.
