The basic retractable post includes a 4-way connection, black slow-retract belt, and a rubberized base, providing premium features at a budget-friendly price. This strong and durable stanchion post is manufactured from solid steel and incorporates a premium internal 7' belt mechanism. The product is shipped in 2 pieces (post & base) to keep freight costs low and can be easily assembled with a simple twist of a key (included). Once assembled, the post becomes permanently affixed to the base and should not be unassembled. The design is protected under USPTO® No. 2,472,720.
